An Open Letter to Makabayan bloc

Dear Makabayan bloc,

You have shown courage by raising the placards in Plenary Hall towards the end of President Aquino III final stage of his SONA. And now I’m encouraging you to use that courage by securing the Spratlys and our territory against China in a territorial dispute. And then, let’s measure your fearless and power. Use that unparliamentary of your behavior to China. And let’s see how far are your solemn obligations to us as our representative to speak the power like what you’ve always said.

We understand your sentiments because the President of the Philippines did not enumerate and failed to mention your  “so called issues”. You’ve expressed your grievances on that day of SONA because according to you as a member of the militant lawmaker; the poor and hungry people did not felt the much-vaunted economic development, and the contractualized workers who are disempowered from striking, the Yolanda victims who don’t have shelters until now. Therefore, you break the official rules of good behavior in parliament.

And because of that, you’ve created and cause a brouhaha inside the Plenary hall using brandished posters with phrases such as “Pahirap sa mga manggagawa at kawani” , serbisyo palpak” and “Mapang-aping hasendero”.

You’ve never considered to arrange a press conference and joined the rallyist outside the streets to hear your voice. Instead, you’ve shown unethical behavior inside the Plenary hall with people of the congress, other politicians and celebrities. All were planned accordingly. It’s a very awesome performances- a good Director, Script Writer and Actors. You are very brave and well-educated. That is the product of your hardwork in law schools. Very Admirable.

That’s why we need your courage- the lawmakers who flashed the posters aside from Rep. Neri Colmenares and Rep. Carlos Zarate of Bayan Muna Party-list, Emmi De Jesus and Luz Ilagan of Gabriela party-list, Terry Ridon of Kabataan Party-list, Fernando Hicap of Anakpawis party-list and Antonio Tinio of ACT-Teachers party-list to face the CHINA in territorial disputes and to stop the construction of several man-made islands in the West Philippine Sea.

Then show to all Filipinos how courageous you are to control the China! Because you’ve always said, you are our representative to speak truth to power!

Ooops by the way, if we will send you in Spratlys we believe you can support your own budget in creating effigy against China. You've wasted a lot of money and budget (from the government tax?) in creating effigy since then, right? And by that time, we will also be glad because no traffic issues anymore in Manila because of you.

Enjoy your stay in Spartlys!
